Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor

On behalf of our client, we are looking for ambitious Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor.

Location: Stara Pazova.

Job Description: Person on this position will be responsible and accountable for supervising the day-to-day operations of the QC laboratory. This includes delegating work assignments to the laboratory staff and monitoring their progress. Work to resolve problems in a timely manner. Person in this position reports to Plant Quality Manager. 

Responsibility (Tasks):
-    Manage diverse personalities of lab personnel through proper training
-    Responsible for procedure review and training with all lab personnel
-    Complete monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for all product quality testing
-    See that all testing is performed within compliance procedures and quality standards (ISO9001 / IATF16949)
-    Maintain certification and maintenance of all lab equipment
-    Assist in developing and updating laboratory procedures
-    Ensure that all laboratory procedures are followed
-    Analyze testing results, product defects and quality lapses.
-    Check outgoing shipments for picking errors and perform analysis to prevent future errors.
-    Confirm and sign off on daily quality control (QC) records, test results and procedures.
-    Gather data and prepare quality metric reports.
-    Guide sample collection activities according to procedures and Control Plans and take action to resolve issues affecting sampling conditions.
-    Guide testing activities to ensure correct testing conditions and processes.
-    Inspect and test laboratory infrastructure and equipment.
-    Perform and / assess GR&R as part of Control Plan preparation by Quality Team. 
-    Monitor critical control points in quality control (QC) processes.
-    Perform internal laboratory audits and analyze possible issues to develop corrective actions to resolve them.
-    Perform routine and non-standard tests of materials and products.
-    Plan and monitor testing schedules and ensure samples are reviewed within targeted plans.

Required Qualifications:
-    Excellent communication skills.
-    MS Office proficient.
-    Proficient in English and local language. 
-    Minimum of a Bachler’s degree with a scientific discipline in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related area of study.

Required Experience:
-    4+ years of Analytical Chemistry experience in a QC laboratory environment.
-    Minimum 1 year on leader / management position
-    Experience with nanomaterials will be an asset.
