Head of Accounting

Due to the expansion of their business activities and their team, our client, Autokomerc d.o.o., a renowned domestic company in the automotive industry, with over 30 years of experience and successful business, is looking for a Head of Accounting.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the Accounting Department, organize tasks, and oversee staff to ensure lawful, timely, and accurate work
• Prepare and control financial calculations, annual financial statements, and tax returns
• Control all types of postings and tax calculations
• Handle payroll processing and ensure proper archiving of accounting documents
• Collaborate with banks, the tax administration, auditors, and other relevant institutions
• Monitor regulations and ensure their implementation, providing expert opinions

Candidate Requirements:

• University degree (VII level of education)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as Head of Accounting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office
• Attention to detail, reliability, systematic approach, and responsibility in work

Desired Requirements:

• Certified Accountant License
• Experience with Pantheon software
